Method of Application:

For optimal performance, ensure that surfaces are clean, dry, and devoid of any contaminants like oil, grease, or debris. It is critical to apply the seam edge treatment at least four hours after completing a flashing seam but no later than the next day. In anticipation of adverse weather, a primer should be applied prior to leaving the project site. In case of contamination, cleanse the affected seam edge at least 1″ (25.4 mm) on either side of the step-off using Splice Wash, then allow the area to dry before applying the primer.

Using the supplied plastic nozzle applicator, dispense a seamless bead of Lap Sealant measuring approximately ⅜” x ¼” (9.5 mm x 6.3 mm) centered on the seam edge. Storage Guidelines:

• Preserve the Lap Sealant in its original sealed containers, maintaining a temperature range of 60 °F to 80 °F (15.6 °C to 26.7 °C).

• Regular stock rotation is recommended to maintain product efficacy, noting the shelf life of two years for optimal results.
