Latex Bonding Adhesive

Our Latex Bonding Adhesive is specifically formulated for adhering EPDM or TPO rubber to roofing insulation or various substrates, including wood, plywood, OSB, and metal. This adhesive is latex-based and designed for single surface bonding applications.

Advantages of EPDM Adhesives:

  • Purpose: This adhesive is intended for bonding EPDM or TPO to substrates, not for seaming purposes. If you need to seam EPDM to EPDM or TPO to TPO, please use our black seaming adhesive or vulcanizing seaming tape.
  • Coverage: A single pail covers approximately 350 square feet of surface area. For larger projects, five 4-gallon pails will cover around 2,000 square feet of finished roof area.
  • Application Instructions:
  • Ensure that the surface is dry, as this adhesive is not suitable for wet conditions.
  • Allow the adhesive to become “tacky” before applying the roofing membrane, which typically takes about 5 minutes.
  • Do not let the adhesive dry completely before placing the roofing material.
  • Apply the roofing membrane while the adhesive is tacky, ensuring optimal adherence.

This adhesive is ideal for large-scale roofing projects and ensures a secure and lasting bond for EPDM or TPO rubber membranes.
